Well, talked it over with the wife again and, while she wasn't ready to commit funds to a bowl trip, she seemed to be leaning that way. She wants to talk again when I get home from work and we'll probably have a decision by game time.

I must admit that the one reason she is hesitating is that she wants to use a good portion of my bonus toward a "surprise," something I've talked about for several years. I think she's trying to figure a way for Noah & I to go to the bowl, her to get the "surprise" and still have enough money left to take care of somethings that, well, need to be taken care of.

BTW, my father told me that "yes dear" are the two most important words in a successful marriage. He's a wise man.

She's not much of a sports fan, but certainly likes the men in the house to be happy ... so sentimentally, she's call for a BG win.
