Brown Uni's

What gives with the Brown Uniforms? Is it just me or does that uni not work for our guys? I'd rather see a sparkly brown helmet with a black and orange combo uni. Heck, it would at least scare the opponent with the Halloweenee look! The brown uni just looks a bit weak to me.

The brown uniform is old school and goes well with our day games, IMO. The orange can get gaudy looking. Black is not one of the colors used in our scheme, and I don't want it seen anywhere near BG's uniforms. The orange and brown is unique to this school and always will be. If you want black and orange, go buy a Bengals jersey.

I love the brown uniform's. I bought one two weeks ago. Hopefully they will stick with them.

No need for the nastyness mr! I'm just bringing up convo here. I have a right to not like my teams color. I just think it looks a bit like Wyoming weak. CALM DOWN!

I think you have to realize that you are treading on thin ice when you start knocking a school's colors to that school's fans. I don't think anyone needs to calm down. I'm glad that our fans are passionate about the burnt orange and seal brown. State your case if you feel the need to, but don't talk down to people who feel loyalty to the colors that have served our university very well for over eight decades.

Since you have a prob with calming down Bleeding...how about slowing down! I love BGSU too! I'm a true fan my friend and true fans don't crank on other true fans. If you can't handle a simple conversation or opinion; you may need to relocate to RUSSIA where a dictatorship is much welcomed...well, we are moving in that direction with kooks like you around. I didn't realize this message board had a hidden code. Maybe I need to go over the agreement again. Jeez!

Sounds as if you took ritalin as child...too jumpy. I eat bullys like you for Breakfast lunch and dinner! I bet you couldn't even catch a darn football, let alone talk about it. Oops, I'm sorry, that's probably your specialty...eating chips, sitting in front of the TV and trying to slaughter other BGSU fans! What is your prob Bleeding Orange. Like I said before; CALM DOWN! It's only an opinion I'm entitled too. I didn't put out a petition to ban the darn jersey's. Jeez!

Dictatorship? Better look over your post again. BO was simply voicing his opinion, as every does on this board. You voiced yours as well, and I and others have responded with our own, you respect them and move on. Don't be a hypocrite and say this board is run a certain way or has certain people on it and then discredit their opinion.

What BO said is true for about 90% of people on this board. That's more fact than opinion. BGSU has always been the burnt orange and seal brown, many people identify this university by those colors and to change them would surely infuriate many students, alums and boosters who contribute money to the various programs.

It's fine to not like the brown jerseys, hell we had the logo thread go on for a month, that alone should show you how passionate the followers of this university are. Just understand that many of us have grown up with the burnt orange and seal brown at this university, and to many a color change to anything else would be considered blasphemy, for lack of a better term.

Why talk trash to someone you don't even know? Bleeding Orange does just that, bleeds orange and brown. Those are the colors of the University. Staying loyal to those colors are like the understood U, it just is. Please don't jump on others who do not share your point of view. You have every right to have it, but others have the same right to not believe it. Lets just all take a step back and try again. We are all BGSU fans and we don't need to questions anyone's loyalties.

JPfalcon, you are going way too far with your post! Looks as if I voiced my opinion first! I didn't say the board was run a certain way...I said that a particular poster may need to relocate to somewhere else where an opinion isn't allowed. That statement relates to the response "bleed" gave me. There was no comment about the ENTIRE board! Spin doctor I see!
