37-10.....

Post by BGSU33 »

.....it has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? After three long years including two heartbreaking losses, I'm going to really enjoy this one!

What an awesome game. I enjoyed it from the very first snap (that made it's way onto ESPNU) to the final whistle. Our D played out of their effing minds and protected their house. I just hope we can keep that momentum all the way to a bowl game...which we will be going to! Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba!!!!

I just watched the game again, just for fun. My word was that a great example of simply dominating a game from start to finish! And the defense! It was like watching a non-MAC defense against Toledo (I've come to the conclusion lately that very few MAC teams actually play defense).

In the end, what a fantastic showing for this team. I am so happy for Hargrove, O'Drobinak, Lichtensteiger and the rest of the seniors that they could leave BGSU not only with a thrashing of UT under their belts, but also a bowl game!

GO FALCONS!!!!

You're right about taking some time to enjoy this one and letting it sink in for a while.

They can put us in the Interstellar Bowl on Mars as far as I'm concerned. 37-10 has made the season a resounding success.

Whipping Toledo does put a nice spin onto the end of the season. That the loss also ensured UT a second losing season, is so much the better.

Too many people have been ready to declare the season a resound this or that all year long. Its not over yet, amazingly. A bowl game has yet to be given, played, or won, and in all cases, the program failed to win a title, even if that was well beyond any responsible expectations.

A good time to pronounce anything will be early 2008, after the beer has cleared from the UT game.

Man, what an awesome game. I didn't watch it on DVR until last night since I was out of town, and it was near impossible to not check the score all weekend, but I was happy I didn't. That game was pure joy to watch. Good coaching, good execution, good crowd, good weather, clinched a bowl game and the best record in the MAC - all in all a perfect game to end the regular season with. Hats off to everyone involved.
