PRICELESS

FF, What are you using to find out that rate? Everything I checked from either Cleve. OR Columbus to Mobile area, Pensacola etc. is around $320. Would be worth the drive to Columbus if I could get the rates you're quoting.

Is it because you're talking about a FIVE day stay? Because I'm looking to leave on Friday the 4th, back on Monday.
Check the Skybus.com website directly. I found a roundtrip flight for $190 (leave Friday but gets back at like 12:40 AM on Tuesday).

Thanks for the update...I'll check it out...IF we know it's the GMAC, might be worth the 2 1/2 hr. drive to Columbus.

Wow...that is a GREAT deal from CBus. We would have to stay an extra night in a hotel but could use the flight savings for that.

Hmmmm....

I think you may even see that price drop quite a bit if Missouri wins this weekend and Ohio State gets shut out of the National Championship game in New Orleans. Right now the return flight on Monday is $35 and for Tuesday its $265, definitely influenced by OSU possibly playing in New Orleans. Those outbound portions Thursday thru Saturday would come down quite a bit with a Mizzou win. As if we needed another reason to root against the Buckeyes.

Mike, Also add in the cost of a rental car as Biloxi is some distance away from Mobile...not sure EXACTLY how far, but sure as heck isn't a CAB RIDE.

If I remember correctly, it's about an hour.

Den:

About an hour ride. Quick look at Expedia shows a rental costing about $65 for a few days. Not, too bad, especially if a contingent from Sagamore Hills and a contingent from Green can share the ride.

Karl,
Not a bad idea...one of these days Mike and I will think of things like this...haven't done a "share" bit since the Purdue game, right Mike?

Now that same flight is up to $260. May have to fly out on Thursday instead.
