I know...I can't wait.
I loved that show as a kid, then ESPN Classic brought back all the reruns, and I loved it even more now. Then TimeWarner took away my ESPN classic and I was a sad panda.
Now I see a preview for a NEW American Gladiators? Awesome.

It is now on a Digital package, whicn also includes ESPNU, the Game Show Network, MTV2, VH-1 Classic, Fuse among others. I have Roadrunner, phone, and cable through TW. When I added the package so I could get ESPNU to watch the Falcons, it cost me like $3 more per month. Definitely worth the investment.

I don't know, I look at their website and it's showing me that the tier that contains those channels is $9.10/month. My current package comes with one digital tier free, but I took the HD tier since I couldn't live w/o HD. The only channels in that entire package that I'd ever watch are ESPNU & ESPN Classic. I'm not going to pay an extra $9 a month to watch a few random MAC games & American Gladiator Reruns.
When they add the NFL network to it THEN I'll pay.
All I really want from a cable company is HBO, Food Network, Comedy Central, and access to every sporting event possible...as much in HD as possible. Unfortunately Time Warner doesn't seem to care about sports fans much. Putting ESPN U on some huge tier that is full of crap channels. Ditching Fox Ohio alternate. Refusing to add Fox Detroit. Refusing to add NFL & Big Ten networks.
They're bastards. Eventually I'll come up with a way to justify the extra costs of DirecTV.
Don't go by the website. Call and actually talk to someone. I am convinced, after several dealings with TWC, they have a random number generator to determine what the price is when you call. If you don't like the number, call back and you will get a different one. I almost guarantee it.

But if it is $9 a month, that equals $108 per year. How much do you spend at B-Dubbs going to watch the two or three games that we will be on each season? $20? $30? per game? So your net cost is really only like $5 or $6 per month for the package.

One word....Directv.
Or two...Dish Network. I love DN...so many sports channels, so little time.

Honestly, I would probably go to the bar to watch our Friday/Saturday night games whether I had them at home or not. It's just more fun to watch them at a bar.
As to DirecTV, I'd love it. Everytime I price Dish & DirecTV I end up looking at an additional $15-30 a month to come close to a package I have at TW. However, as TW takes away Fox Ohio, and continues to leave out NFL & Fox Detroit that extra cost is looking better & better.

I pay $10 a month for all the fox sports and other regional sports channels. You get other channels with that like TVG, (which I love) and other sport channels. I live in Indiana, but I can watch all the MAC games on the two Fox Ohio stations. I get all the Reds, Cubs and Whitesox on these stations without paying for the baseball package.
The Big Ten and NFL channel are not extra. In fact they both come with my regular package and not the sports package.
The main reason i got Directv when I moved here in 97 was for the Sunday Ticket. I love it.
