To all heck with UCF, they left the MAC! They couldn't win for losing with our conference, but now they're on top in CUSA!? WHo's the better conference?

The MAC remains better than CUSA, which it always has been in football.

USF and UL were the best teams in CUSA and they are now in the Big East, the league wasn't able to replace the quality it lost.

What I enjoy about all of this, is that since Marshall left the MAC for "a better conference and a bowl game every year, in a conference they could easily match their success against the bigger budgets of CUSA," they haven't had a winning season, and continue to look like the ass-end of the league.

I never had any bitter feelings towards UCF, and there was a rather nice guy among their fans who was always a welcome contributor to our community here.

I so look forward to seeing BG jam the Herds ego down the Freak'n throats. I might dislike UM fans almost as much as I enjoy disliking UT.

This offical is a doofus. He gets a lot of air time. This is at least the fifth MAC game I have seen him on.

We didn't deserve a bowl game, not the way we played this year, certainly not on the road. Im not sure this team over or underachieved or was just about right where it needed to be. Be that as it may, I'll take some gouda with my Black and Tan thank you very much!

There is an irrational lack of exuberance in this thread.

The Miami rips are misplaced. That's a pretty good team. Stout defense, expecially against the pass. It took the Chips a while to figure them out.

Miami is the East champion. Central Michigan is the MAC champion. We are neither, and kvetching doesn't change that.

Divisional titles just get you to the title game. Only winning it means much.

In any case, the game was horrible for the most part. Nothing changes that either.

I won't rip on Miami. We ran into the wrong team on the wrong day in Oxford. They were jacked up to play and we never got off the bus...

It's over...it sucked but it's over. Congrats to MU on the MACC appearance...it was rough sitting home watching that today knowing it could have very well been us playing.

I think BG wins it all in 2008...all the pieces are there.

I agree with that prediction, but for some reason all of the writers are picking Buffalo next year.
