As tempted as I am to step in with comments about a BG education in geography I won't. Chimey will no doubt bemoan the fact that BG lets anybody graduate when they don't know where Tulsa is, so I won't have to.
This looks like a pretty high powered matchup offensively. For one week I'll be a Falcon fa... a Falcon f-f-f-f ..Nope, can't say it. But good luck!

This arrogant attitude from CUSA is why I and most people in Mobile pull for MAC teams. I put hotel info up for them, but that's all I'm doing. I wouldn't be suprised if they bring less than 1,000 fans. See UTEP a few years ago. GMAC folks should have gone with ECU. They would have brought 8,000+ fans

I dunno about that St. Francis DeSales comment, but...Columbus_Zak wrote:Thu, Aug 30 at Louisiana-Monroe W 35-17 --

No wonder they had the number one offense, Columbus St Francis DeSales High School could achieve that with opponents like this.
If the Falcons stay focused these next few weeks, Tulsa looks like a team they may be able to beat.
That's not a prediction. The point here is, Tulsa is not Rutgers or Michigan State -- or, for that matter, Central Florida. I like this matchup better.
Looking at that schedule... the Brigham Young win was a statement.
I don't see many other statements up there. I mean, giving up 39 points to Army? Giving up 43 points to Rice? A one-touchdown win at home with Marshall?
Overall, the impression is not intimidating.
I'm sure they are looking over our schedule, noting how many points we gave up to Eastern Michigan, wondering why in the world there is a university named Miami in Ohio, etc.
Fine. It will be a good game. I'm looking forward to this.
I have full confidence that our offense will come out firing... with more wrinkles than a retirement home, keeping Tulsa on their toes. If our defense can come out and give even half the effort they gave in the UT game, I really like our chances.
ROLL ALONG!!
ROLL ALONG!!
