Good win tonite but where are the fans? It might take longer than most of us thought for people to even put this program back on their radar.

I've seen way more than this at BGHS v. St. Johns games.

Box score says 1,400 but it seemed like less

The weather reports may have had a lot to do with it, as there were a gazillion accidents on I-75. That would have kept the Detroiters home.

Yeah, the student turnout was ok, but I think most of the townies stayed at home where it was warm and not sleeting. Here's hoping for a sellout next weekend!

I would guess the weather did it too...I only had to walk from one end of campus to the other and if it wasn't hockey I wouldn't have done it. Plus, when we got out the entire parking lot was ice.

The weather was the reason we didn't make the trip from Ft. Wayne, however the BG locals??????

I had to work.

Then afterward I had to clean about 1/4 an inch of frozen rain off my windshield without an ice scraper. It was awesome.

Besides... I'll be seeing the Warriors soon enough.

I'm not surprised by the attendance at all. We left Tam-o just befors 7:00pm from our son's game. It took us about 1.5 hours to get back to BG. We saw the third period and that was it.

I was at the MAC Championship game and drove through the beginning of whatever you all got. Sounds bad. We did make a stop at DiBenneto's around 3:30-4:00.

As far as attendance - With this being Wayne's last year of hockey and being a lackluster OC game - I could see why people stayed at home with the weather being less than cooperative.

I am a little embarassed that we have a BG alumn who doesn't have her icescraper in her car by the end of Sept. Maybe there is something in the water at WMU.

Hey!!! I broke my ice scraper at the end of last year trying to hack about an inch of frozen rain off my windshield after returning from a road trip. Since there were no more storms after that, I didn't bother to buy one then. But now it looks as if I'll have to get off my lazy azz and go buy one.

You need to get an grad assistant whose only requirement will be to have your car cleared and ready to go after each game.

I can think of better uses than that for a grad assistant...

I can too. Unfortunately the university says I am prohibited from using them as my personal valet or housekeeper.

University rules are so unreasonable sometimes!
