Women vs. Notre Dame this Wednesday - WE NEED YOU!!

Post by bgsufn »

The Falcons welcome #22 Notre Dame to AA this Wednesday, December 5th. Last year, we had this game won, then let ND get back into it, then forced Overtime, then lost it. We traveled very well to Notre Dame.

This year, it's time for revenge. ND is ranked #22 in the country. They are playing very well and this will be a huge test for our Falcons. My dad is an ND alum, and he told me that the Alumni Association there is planning on having a couple of busloads of fans come to BG for the game. They are taking this game very seriously...

We cannot lose home court advantage here! I will be at the game and I will bring friends. I encourage you to do so as well. Even if you haven't seen these ladies play or just aren't into women's hoops, come to this game. They are FALCONS and need our support this Wednesday. Let's make AA truly the "House the Roars" and make it a very tough place for the Irish to win.

So please... do everything you can to come to this game Wednesday. Coach Miller and the team needs you!

BGSU-NOTRE DAME, WED. 7PM ANDERSON- BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Falconboy »

Absolutely. We need all to rally around this team Wed. to take on #22 (maybe higher) Notre Dame. We really need all those rowdy fans that show up to the men's game a lot but never have taken in a women's game. We need a packed house with the student section packed full of as many loud students or fans as possible. A 4k+ crowd could really neutralize this game were ND has the obvious talent and size advantage.

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SMACK THE IRISH!!!!! :smt021 :smt067 :smt068 :smt071 :smt063

I think I'm going to be driving into town for this game, weather permitting. This is going to be fun! :)

I've got an event started on Facebook to try to draw some more people to the game.

this game is going to be a great measuring stick to see where the young Falcons are. No matter the result, I think they are going to gain some very valuable information about themselves and where the weaknesses may be.

I never thought about it before, but I really like the 11 days between Notre Dame and I.U. The coaches will have a lot time to break down the Notre Dame game, address whatever needs to be addressed, and the girls will be extremely well prepared for the Dec. 16 showdown over in B-Town.

I'm strongly considering making the hour and a half drive to see this game! It will be a huge game and the women need to win this game.
