She also dated Cade McNown, I believe. There was much turmoil when she bounced between both of those 1st round QBs that season. I think then Timmuh won her back. No clue if they're still together, likely not. What is it about being the Browns QB that has you hooking up with playmates?
Or what is up with Heather Kozar dating first round QB busts? Maybe couch should be blaming her for all those interceptions and incompletions.

He had happy feet and was rarely set on any of his throws. It didnt help that everyone he was playing with will probably not make the team except for the Tight end. He needs to zip the ball in, his ball floated a couple of times tonight. Overall he gets a C... as he did what he could but nothing special as far as I could see for his first NFL game.

Here are some of J5's stats against Atlanta...

4/14 for 42 yds
0 TD's
0 INT's
1 rush for -1 yd

His completion percentage is a little low, but other than that his stats indicate that he played a solid game. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the him play in the game.

He played smart. Threw it away when he had to, illuded two sacks but the numbers don't show much b/c he didn't have much on the field around him. Great to see him playing though!

There were also a couple plays where his receivers were mugged by no hankie flew. He never really had a chance to get in a rhythem with all those running plays that never had a chance.

Clearly he didn't know what he was doing.

He was playing against the Falcons, and he was handing off to Chester Taylor.

I'd be confused too.

And he was wearing those ugly purple uniforms. It probably felt like a bad dream.

I think they just played Boller, Stewart and Josh.

In addition to the above listed issues, the game was played in a downpour.
When he had the chance to drop back and set, he made some nice throws.
He made only one really bad read that i saw. He tried to go to his TE once and clearly didn't see the LB who should have picked the ball off.
He did a nice job of eluding the rush.

He looked like he belonged out there. Not many 6th round draft choices can say that.

the fade

I thought Josh did a pretty good job. He had a couple of really nice fades and he played smart. I am really excited to see him develop as an NFL player.

I taped the second half of the game so the boys would be able to see J5 play. They were in bed by 9:30 I agree with everyone here....he did some good things and some things he definitely needs to work on. Hammb, now I can see why you said he would need a few years. I don't follow much NFL...but Josh is very much a 3-4 yr project in the making....I'd give him a B- simply because of the elements and the talent on the field surrounding him.

But.....IT SURE WAS GREAT TO SEE HIM ON THE FIELD AGAIN! ESPN did a real nice preview of Josh with the OSU, NIU and MCB game footage...and plenty of closeups shots.

Keep working hard, Josh....you're gonna make it!

Sussman,
  BTW, The MAC had at least 3 guys in the game last night...Harris, Taylor and Dave Zastudil, punter from Ohio U. ANy others that I may have missed?

frdmgir7,
I love that avatar! The boys and I have seen Shrek 2 a few times and Puss in Boots is the best!
