Upcoming Schedule

Post by 60yearsofsicsic »

I was looking ahead to the rest of the non-conference schedule... it is going to be a tough one...

Northern Colorado: Beat Colorado State handly, a much improved upper-classmen team

Illinios State- 5-2 gave Indiana all they could handle

DU- Beat Okland by 20

Indiana State- Beat Okland by 30

Eastern IL- Should be a win this team looks young and appears to be struggling

I think I would be happy with a .500 record going into conference play and hope that the team matures under Orr. The MAC East in basketball is far superior to the MAC West so the conference schedule will be difficult. What does everyone else think??

Go Falcons!!!

Indiana State beat Oakland City College. They lost to Purdue by 11, but I don't think they are too good. I am almost certain I will be able to see BG play them in Terre Haute.

Yo, we're the BG Falcons, ya got that? We don't look at other teams' scores and quiver in fear. We don't worry about semi-impressive performances against average squads. We FIGHT! In each game, we'll step on the floor and go right for the throat. We won't care who "they" are or "who" they beat because we believe in ourselves.

We can and should go into these games expecting to win. I fully expect to win every upcoming non-MAC game. Anything less is unsatisfactory. Period. There's nothing on that schedule that should scare us.
