Probably my greatest regret from my time at BG is graduating in four years. If only I had planned better.
Don't be too upset. After six years it starts to get a bit mundane.
i'm graduating in about 12 days and i kind of don't want too! i been here for 5 1/2 years, and it has just become a way of life!
Go Falcons!

A nice topic students may want to see.

In a campus-wide email, Ed Whipple stated that if students wished to go to the GMAC Bowl, they could purchase a package for $200 which includes travel, lodging, meals, and the game.

Also, since the game is the day before classes start, students are being permitted to miss the first day of classes as long as they give notice to their professors and also sign-in at the student registration table down in Mobile.

So, students should be able to go now...except for me, but I'm okay with just watching on TV. My students may miss, but I cannot. Cheer hard for me!!!

Here is a copy of the email:
Special GMAC Bowl travel package offered to BGSU students

The Falcon Football team has accepted an invitation to play in the
2008 GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Ala. BGSU meets Tulsa on Jan. 6 at 8 p.m.
(EST) in Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

Student fans have been a vital part of the football team's success
this year. To recognize your pride and support, a discounted BGSU
student game ticket price of $20 is being extended--a $25 savings.
Only one ticket can be bought per student ID.

A Student Spirit Trip will depart from Bowling Green on Friday, Jan.
4, and return on Monday, Jan. 7. Registration will begin at 10 a.m.
Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Office of Campus Activities (401
Bowen-Thompson Student Union).

Your $200 registration fee (cash or check only) will include all
transportation, lodging, game ticket costs, and a continental
breakfast on game day.

Because the bowl date and travel arrangements coincide with the
beginning of spring semester, BGSU will allow students to miss the
first day of the classes if they provide advance notice to their
professors and sign in at the student registration table in Mobile.

Game details and fan events can be found at http://bgsufalcons.com.

$200?

$200?

This is the bargain of the century, students! Hope to see you there!

Could we consider starting a "Send Froggy to Mobile" fund? 200 people donate $1, and I'm there!
