I'm going to go fire up the chat room for anyone who couldn't make it (like me). Bad weather + bad knee = no trip for bozo. :(

Having to listen from afar tonight too :( . Looked good at the half, down by 8 now. Need to get going. Having a good showing for the MAC though. Definitely not a pushover like the 2 previous ND vs MAC contests

What an effort!!! Hate to see a loss but BG is gonna roll this year.

For a young team, they grew up in a hurry.

I am very confident we will see a 4 peat MAC title this year.

BRING ON THE HOOSIERS FOR THEIR THIRD STRAIGHT BEATING!!!!!!!!

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!

What a bummer. Great job by the team and the coaching staff. I'm very proud of their effort.

I caugh the OT period when I heard it was going since I had a intermural game before hand. But anyways ND was lucky to make that last shot, it seemed liked they waited to long to take the shot and were just able to get it up in time and barely made the shot.

Wow, this one was eerily familar to last year's game. Considering our youth, and the way ND had been blowing teams out, I think we learned that this team will be pretty good very quickly. Heartbreaking way to lose, but nice job by the Falcons.

I think this team showed a TON of heart tonight. They got behind by double digits twice in the game, but showed determination to cut the lead. We didn't commit turnovers, didn't miss free throws, and played very fundamentally sound basketball for most of the game. It was just that whenever we had a chance to take the lead, ND would come back with another big shot, one after another. And the buzzer beater to win was well defended, but they made the tough shot anyway.

There's no reason to be down about this one. If we learned anything tonight, its that we are on par with a top level team in women's college basketball, and that we are the favorites to win the MAC for a 4th time in a row.

GREAT JOB LADIES!!!

P.S. Kate Achter is a warrior.

+1, if she isn't MAC Player of the Year, someone at the MAC offices needs to be fired

Two years in a row those dirty little Catholics got us. Last night was a very impressive showing considering what ND did to the other 2 MAC teams they played.

We're definitely solidified as the clear favorite in the MAC now. From listening to the game, it sounds as if ND just wrestled the game away from us. We certainly made them work for it.

Great game, Falcons.

The first mention I've seen about two technical fouls called, one on coach Miller, came from the South Bend Trib.

What's the story on the techs.?
