Did we fill up AA?

Post by ZuluWarrior »

Be great to have had a big crowd and then pack the Bowling Green Ice Arena on Friday for Michigan. A win tonight would have been awesome, but I just checked out the roster. What a young team. A bunch of frosh playing significant time. Sophs too.

+1 Transfer. The crowd was ridiculous tonight. There were at least 3K+ in the stands tonight, one of the first games I have ever seen people sitting in the diagonal sections. Pretty much from the opening tip on the students were screaming mad, as were many of the townies on the other side. It was excellent, the game was excellent. The outcome not so much, but the whole game experience was unlike anything I've ever experienced at AA.

That game was absolutely incredible. I wish we could pack Anderson like that every game, that would be awesome! Great job ladies and fantastic support fans!

What had a game, an amazing expereince I will never forget (except for the outcome). It was so loud in there that near the end of the 2nd half my ears were ringing, it was only for a couple of seconds, but wow. Great job ladies, we are all proud of you, and great job fans.

No way. No idea as to how they counted the attendance, but that figure is too low.

I graduated 10 years ago this December. I was there through Anthony Stacey, Antonio Daniels and our 30 point comeback over Toledo... and I NEVER EVER heard it as loud as it was tonight. Seriously... As someone said above, even the townies were into it.

I am so proud of these Falcons. They played with heart, guts and CLASS. Way to go women!!

it was great to see so many people in there! The seats behind the band are not used anymore remember because of the falcon club thing. So that could be why the corners were filling up too. But anyways, it was great to see a nice crowd!

A FANTASTIC crowd tonight!!! I got chills watching Kate get the crowd on their feet. Anderson Arena was definitely ROARING tonight! I hope that we can do that for every game this season, these ladies deserve it!

No chance. If the attendance was only 2228, then evidently the capacity at AA is only about 3000

It's wild (and fun) speculation, but could you just imagine if this freshmen class wins a string of MAC titles of their own, something that could very well happen based on everything we've seen so far?

It'll be "Curt Miller Court" inside Anderson Arena.

He's got a LONG way to go before you could name the court after him. You know, a couple national championships....

If he wins seven straight MAC titles, I'll vote to name the *new* building after him. What other coach has even come close to that?

MILLER TIME!!!!!!!!!

Wow...I wish I could have been there last night. The women are playing way above expectations and will only get better.

Prochasksa is my new fave player since Ali is no longer there...what a start to her career. And Murdaugh? What a game she had.

This team could very well pick up where last year's Sr's left off....
