Road games versus rivals like NIU and Toledo are extremely tough. The outcomes against both these teams have flipped back and forth over the last several years. I don't see it being any different next year.[/i]
We lost the chance to show that we have the ability to put away a good team on the road in the 2nd half. Until we can prove that we can do that we will continue to play 2nd fiddle to teams like Toledo most seasons.
Well, Toledo goes on the road and wins, like they did at NIU. We lost the chance to prove we were on the road to becoming the MAC's premier team, which we are not.
You're right, maybe next year all the right games will be played in the right places, and we'll be able to win.
