Will the shirts in Mobile be as nice as these? What can I expect to find there?

Honestly, I thought there were pretty slim pickins in 2004. I bought a nice BGSU hat that had a GMAC Bowl patch on the back. I also picked up a GMAC Bowl patch that is now proudly displayed on Noah's jersey. But we didn't bring much "official" merchandise back. Of course, we had a huge stash of beads, cups and other stuff from the parade!

I like getting stuff from the gamesite as it shows you were there, but honestly SBX actually had the best selection last time around. . .

This has been my favorite design so far:

Noel:

We picked up the patch at a table inside the stadium. I've kicked myself for not picking a couple extra. They were very cheap, IIRC, like $3 or $4.

That logo doesn't do a thing for me ... too busy. Your sig banner, on the other hand, rocks!

There will be some cheap GMAC Bowl shirts floating around the parking lots before the game. They aren't associated with the bowl, but made from some local guy's shirt shop. Although they aren't as nice as the GMAC shirts, they are very unique and a cool souvenir.

Also, merchandise will be sold at the team's hotel lobby (Marriott)

I always liked the T-shirts with both teams' helmets on it. I have those from the 03 MCB and 04 GMAC. Those are treasured collectibles. Will those be available on the GMAC website? I picked up the last two in BG but won't be there anytime soon.

Karl, Agreed on the total AMOUNT of stuff available in the team hotel lobby... bought a tan cap with the GMAC logo on back and BG logo on front. I was going to order stuff from OUR bookstore, but $7 "shipping" charge on a T-shirt seems a bit excessive to me...

So they're "giving away" the T-shirts? Sounds like a great Deal!!! Guess I'll have to order some, since it looks like I WON'T be going to the game, due to breaking my ankle on some "black ice" yesterday.

Den: Really? Not good news (both the ankle and not getting to the game). Was looking forward to seeing you & Joyce, since we missed you at the Temple game.
