Wow, Kdog, that sucks. You run into a-holes like that everywhere, and if that had happened to me, I'd feel the same as you.kdog27 wrote:Let me preface this response by first saying that Bowling Green is not even a close rival to Wisconsin. As impressive as the Wisky student section was... I wasn't that impressed.
After the game my dad and I had about a twenty minute walk back to our car. Went fine for about 2 minutes until 2 students came up behind us. All they did was throw garbage, spit, and say every four and five letter word to us for the rest of our walk. They were two pussies in the middle of thousands wearing red on each side of the street. I mean what could we really do? You make one move and your outnumbered like no other.
What pissed me off the most through this walk was that not a single one of their fans witnessing this said a word to these two assholes. Those bystanders including students and alums of all ages. We did everything we could to get away from them crossing the street and walking fast. Not until we reached the car were we relieved of them. Pretty much ruined our trip. My dad hasn't been to a college football game since.
They only did it because they had numbers behind them. I could have handled these two clowns by myself and I am not big.
Since then I despise every to do with that school.
However, I happen to think these things go on everywhere.
I was actually treated great by Wisky alums and students alike. Granted, I was with a group of 7 other Falcon fans. The local pubs we hit after the game, I had students buying me shots.
Sorry to hear about your experience.
