I keep thinking it would be a good move for the Ath. Dept. to back up the donated tickets with BG t-shirts. First off, an extra piece of clothing never hurts, especially for those that have been devastated by nature, etc. Also, you can never have too many fans in other parts of the country.

As for the OSU deal, it sounds like a "hey, why not?" move by the athletic department that's being translated into a "HELP!" message by those in Columbus.

Quick question.....If a company were to buy...I dunno 1000 tickets and donated them to a charity can that count as a tax write off?

Don't know about companies, but I was told that my contribution of my tix would be considered a tax write off. Not the reason I did it, but what the heck.

I am sorry to hear about your ankle, '61, this probably could not have come at a worse time for you. And yet, in spite of all that, here you are! Thank you very much for the heads up on the tickets, I will follow this up!

OSU fans couldn't even bail out Maurice Clarett.

Jim Tressel does his best to say all the right things on TV and present an image of humble class for his school, and all his hard work is undone with a few strokes of the keyboard.

That may well have been the best retort to him EVER!!

Our problem Teke isn't that we're so small , its just a fact that the timing of the bowl and the fact that quite possibly not a great majority of our fan base has really gotten back on the bandwagon yet could be contributing to our lowly number at this point(gosh, we do still have over 20 days to go yet  ) So once again Teke you strike out. Also last time out we had Omar and unfortunately that was probably too much of a reason in of itself to go for a lot of people.

Those were your numbers THE LAST TIME, when you were still on the bandwagon and it was BEFORE the holidays.

Hell the numbers are probably worse this year.

Well, per many other AZZ'ers here our attendance last time out at the GMAC Bowl was just fine. I'll worry when we still have that number around 1st of Jan. Its gonna take this whole month of Dec for a ton of fans to figure out their plans and whether they can make it or not.

Man do you really need to grow up. You've gone from mildly annoying, to nonexistent, to just plain childish all within the span of one year. What will '08 bring? Personally, I can't wait.

A reasonable synopsis BO but I think you missed a couple of phases. Teke still has the orange shorts and I'm betting he has a GMAC ticket in the pocket of those orange shorts. ;-)
