Comparing recent freshman classes, it looks as though (maybe) 20% of Tulsa students could get into BGSU. :-D

I can't believe that this lame thread is still lamely going on. It is so lame to argue about such lame material on a lame thread. It's getting pretty lame guys. You are all so lame. Lame.

(I did this in another thread too, but I don't think it got noticed :()

I agree with anthony e 150%!! Glad to see this posted. I feel exactly the same way he does and I am a BGHS grad and a BGSU grad! I do bleed orange and brown but find room in my heart to root on the Buckeyes (as I have family members that went to OSU). And anthony is right, there are obnoxious fans for every school out there NOT just Ohio State. GO BUCKS AND GO FALCONS!! And yes, I hate Michigan and Toledo equally!! Must be a blue and gold thing?

As a teacher, I felt the need to test whether or not he was capable of learning from the synonyms I provided for the word lame.

Maybe that is expecting too much.
Like I said, I have to keep it simple for you. None of those that you have provided for the word lame fit the context of the conversation.

I can not use another word, because you would not be able to comprehend. I have to keep it simple so you can follow along.

and idiot just sounds better.

Naw, it just sounds lame and idiotic. Now if you called someone less than wintry that would be truly sacharine.

I think that Tek's use of the word "lame" focuses directly on the fact that he can only speak and understand words that are monosyllabic.
