thoughts from last night's game...

Post by BGFalcons232 »

i'm still speechless after watching BG just fall apart on offense and defense last night. i couldn't believe what i was seeing as BG just laid down and let toledo do whatever they wanted. jelani jordan and terill mayberry just got scorched on every deep ball toledo threw. jordan played almost as bad as he did against miami last year. i was questioning all second half why they didn't move keon to corner or play deaudre perry more...

and the refs... they were terrible. it's not an excuse because if we would have made our plays, we would have came out on top anyways. but on every single screen pass toledo threw, there was a blatant hold. also, the refs didn't seem to know what constituted pass interference and what didn't. but like i said, it's no excuse. BG should have made their plays and won anyways. omar missed two wide open receivers for TDs.

and that bell coming over the loudspeaker. how are they allowed to do that? i thought it was against NCAA rules to make artificial noise like that.

and freak... i think i was sitting by you. i was in section 22, row s, right by toledo's student section. i saw a guy wearing a #90 jersey and i thought i heard someone say "hey freak." i didn't want to say anything because i didn't know for sure if it was you or not.

I agree with you about the sound over the loudspeaker. At first I thought I was at the Pistons game and Big Ben just swatted a ball or grabbed a rebound

are you a student? you must have been one of the three guys right in front of me. (I had the brown BG hockey jersey on.) I went out after the hoops game tonight with the guy to my right, and we were lamenting that we never got to any of our good chants after halftime. :(

but yeah, freak was in row U, right on the aisle, and I think at last count, 4 or 5 of us in that group are regulars here...

You should have been lamenting his belt buckle.

Either that or lamenting that double post you just made. :duh:
I'm not as cool as Tony Gaver, nor will I ever be.

There, all better.
And who says a 3" silver belt buckle of your name is a bad thing? Especially with a name like that!?!?
