Great story.

Pulling in guys with offers from Illinois, MSU, etc, is awesome.

Awesome!

Even a little love for AZZ.com!

EDIT

Take note of this:

"Clyde kicker Jerry Phillips has also committed to BG. Phillips will grayshirt next year, meaning he won't enroll in school until January, 2009, making him a member of the 2009 recruiting class."

I saw that.

Good news there. Greyshirts must pay for their own school their freshman year, and I don't think they're allowed to practice with the team. It's really more of a promise to a recruit that he'll get a scholarship the following year.

Greyshirts don't effect your eligibility in any way either. When he accepts his athletic scholarship for the 2009 recruiting class he will still have the standard 5 to play 4.

That all sounded like great news, other than the part about only signing 14...
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

I think that's because we don't have a lot of schollies available rather than an indication that we can't find enough recruits.

:P

Yeah - we graduate like 2 and a half seniors.

I hope most of these guys pan out. The OL is the key to any offense.

Stevens has also made friends with several Falcon supporters. He visited a BG message board a few days before the Toledo game and asked if he could stop by their tailgating site before the game.

"We had a good time talking about the other guys coming in and the program," Stevens said.

HOLY CRAP! Is Ryan Artullo trying to ruin BG? Please take my suggestion and don't make contact with Stevens again until he is at campus at BG!!!

This is all great news, I suspect we'll be collecting some championships over the next four years.

Top picks getting some O Linemen in. I'm still shaking my head about the comment "they're the easisest to replace", a couple weeks back. Total tosh, just ask Notre Dame.

Very positive news.

I hope all of these guys do sign with BG, they sound like the would be GREAT additions and we could certainly use their services with the losses we're going to have after this season.
GO BG!!!

Ask BG's compliance director if it is a joking matter. I'm trying to be nice here by telling you guys not to have any contact with him until he is on campus.
