THOUGHTS ON THE SEASON

For anyone who care's to read..


Long gone are the days of the 3-8, 2-9 BGSU Falcons, and I for one and proud of what's become of this football program. We had glimpses of what might have been during the Blackney ere, but that fell by the wayside quickly.
Now, we have one of the best offenses in the country, have been ranked in the top 25 three years in a row, and have the best sophomore quarterback in the land.. if not the best overall. We have two more season of Omar, and they will be a special couple of years.
Gone are the days that we couldn't get 5,000 let along 15,000-20,000 people into the Doyt.
While our attendance needs to be worked on, this is one Falcon fan who is happy and proud to see how far things have come in such a short period of time.
Gone are the days of hoping we have a shot at a MAC title.. we now expect it, and that says an awful lot.
Sure we lost to Toledo.. again.
Sure we lost another big road game.. again.
But I'll take 8-3 over 3-8 any day of the week.
And as Falcon fans we all must Roll Along, becase we are all BG Warriors no matter what our record.
At lease we have the luxury now of having high expectations instead of just high hopes.
