I'm sure that when you received the tix, you didn't feel the amount of disappointment that Ralphie did when he decoded the message about the Ovaltine.

I sat in row 38 and had a great view last night at the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game. The only problem with the higher seats on the BG section is that you're right under the speakers (i believe) and it can get pretty annoying. By halftime you can move down a bit.

I'm actually trying to buy today, but I can't seem to get past the front page of bgsufalcons.com. There seems to be a problem with the Flash movie. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash. Nothing's working, at least for me.

UPDATE: I was able to bypass the stalled Flash movie on the front page by choosing a page inside the site I had been to before. It seems like they've got some problems today, though. It could be me, but I think it's them.

Row 51 Seat 28-29

Just wondering who gets all of the lower rows. We don't have that many football parents. I like being up a little, but not on the moon! Maybe we'll have a monsoon again and we can sit anywhere we want.

I was recently told a story from a member of the U. Cincinnati radio crew.

They went to Ft. Worth for, believe it or not, the Ft. Worth Bowl. This producer had in his hand 200 tix for the game. He took them to a local Ft. Worth bar and tried to give them away. At one point, he simply sat them on the bar next to a video game free for any takers. He had few takers.

That makes me think some of these bowls hold back a lot of comp tickets. Maybe too many.

GO BG!!

Compared to the last GMAC

Post by Class of 61 »

If I recall correctly, MOST of our tix at the last GMAC Bowl were "up high"...since the "crowd" didn't number much more than 12K or so (who actually showed up in the monsoon), I know a lot of folks moved down to lower seating. We stayed up high as I felt we had a good view of the field, plays opening up etc. (At least when we could keep the rain out of our eyes)...a word to the wise for those going...if you've got some GOR TEX stuff, bring it!...better safe than sorry.
