BG Bar: Pat's (Who's coming?)

Post by MobileBama »

How many of you plan on going to Pat's Saturday before the parade? The manager asked me today and I'm trying to get a good idea. Thanks and hope to see a lot of you there.

Where:
Pat's Downtown Grill
271 Dauphin St
Mobile, AL 36602
(251) 438-9585
perfect location with easy walking distance from all downtown hotels, parade route and pep-rally.

When:
Saturday 2pm-'till (parade starts at 6:30, pep-rally follows)
come early and bring BG flags, posters, cd's, shakers, etc.

What:
Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba members, posters, students, alums, etc.
Live acoustic music
Jagermeister specials
Cold beer
Good times!!

**Please pass this info to all those who are coming down**

I would love to stop in, but I'm sure that the FMB will have something going on before the parade and thus, Dr. Hayward will frown upon it.

I'm planning to go with a buddy who doesn't check in here much.

I almost wonder if we should get AZZ.com name tags. :)

I'll be there +2 maybe +3.

We hav to pick up my father at the airport at 1:48 then Dew Drop Inn for lunch, then check in to the downtown Ramada. Then I am thinking Pat's at 4ish? I can bring some BG stuff and a CD.

Could have a third if our buddy can figure out a flight from England.

I'll see what Mom and Dad Freak are gonna do but I will have my own ride. I think I'll be there sometime around 3-4...don't know just yet. I can bring shakers and car flags...Won't have much more than that.

Anyone that may need a ride downtown, let me know in a PM so we can coordinate. Can't believe it's only a week and a half away. :D

GO FALCONS!!

We're going to try to stop by. We should be in town by late afternoon. A lot will depend on how quickly we can get settled into our room and get some dinner (the perils of traveling with a 10-year-old!).

Thanks Falcon Commander. I'll take you up on that offer. Cold beer is fine with me.

Also, any one that wants or needs a ride downtown Saturday just let me know. I can take up to 4 people and any one can follow us. I will probably be getting down there around noon for lunch and I can show y'all around downtown. I will be taking a cab home for sure later that night.

Also, if any one wants to be taken to a practice, restaurant or any places in Mobile during the week, please let me know. I know this may sound weird since I don't think I've met many of you, but I promise I'm a good person. I met many of the Ohio fans and took a few of them to lunch and showed them around Mobile. I graduated from the Univ. of Alabama in '03 and live here in Mobile.

Send me a pm and I'll be glad to help you out

The Swoop and legacy Boy will be there sometime after 4:30 until we walk on down to the parade route....sounds like if we all meet at Pat's will have our own AZZ parade section.
There is no other way to finish a season other than yelling at the top of your lungs among BG's players holding the Peace Pipe aloft!

I suggest meeting up at Pat's then walking to Bienville Square to watch the parade. I'll be heading that way so you can all stand with me. I've noticed a lot of you aren't coming until later. I know most of you can't help it b/c of travel, but if you can get downtown and have lunch then walk around, I highly suggest it.

I sent an email to Dave who writes for the Toledo Blade and hopefully he will mention Pats and other suggestions I've offered about Mobile.

You may want to include Ryan Autullo in on that. He's the BG beat writer at The Blade.
