BG-Northeastern Updates

Post by AZIce »

Falcons up 2-0 at the end of the 1st period. Sounded like NU carried most of the play in the opening period outshooting us 9-5 and had the play in our end far more. However, that said we beat their guy twice on what sounded like a couple of nice plays by McIlrath.

Hopefully we can carry a little more of the play in the second and hopefully Spratt keeps playing well.

Nice to be up 2-0 after the 1st period, but we gotta play a whole game of intensity and not let up ala UM at home. This would be a very quality win here if we can finish it out as Northeastern is #11 in the nation.

3-2 Falcons at the end of 2, but we are getting outplayed really badly. Spratt has been fantastic to keep us in the lead. Don't know whether NU is that good or we are just rusty, but this is the first game this year I can recall us just being completely outplayed in. NU is dominating the shots and play..........hopefully we can hang on or step up in the 3rd.

BG down 4-3 now late in the 3rd. Somehow I knew it was just too good to be true to be up by that much on the #11 team in the nation.

Well i just got back from the game. We were out played in every area that game. Jimmy stood on his head the entire game. Now I'm off to have some more beer and watch the Badgers play Colgate. Let's fight those cavities.

Hopefully this p!ssing down their collective leg isn't a trend for the rest of the season.

Let's get at Colgate.

Actually I expect us to be playing Wisconsin as we play the winner of the 2nd game on Sat.

Crappy loss, still shows the team has some big chinks in the armor. A 3-0 lead should never be blown, regardless of level and opponent. Glad to hear Spratt played well. Get a W against Colgate and make it a good tournament.

We would play the loser since tomorrow is the championship and consolation games. If it's colgate (likely), we play at 4pm. If it's Wisky, it's 7pm.
