I tripped on this when on the Quicktime site.

Anyone see this yet? It's the story of Maurice Richard.

It's a great movie. Maurice was instrumental in revolutionizing the game, as well as winning all those Cups with that great Canadiens team. I don't think we'll ever see the likes of that kind of team ever again in any sport. Them, the Islanders of the late 70s and the Gretzky-led Oilers of the 80s should rank in the top 10 teams of all time.

I suggest to all sports fans to see this movie. A great movie about a great player.

The Rocket came out a few years ago actually I have the film. However, this trailer is in English. I have only seen the film in French. It is about the struggles of a Francophone playing alongside a bunch of Anglophones. Sean Avery, Mike Ricci, and Vincent Lecavalier plays Jean Beliveau. The movie is great with some great hockey clips. Unlike the movie Miracle all these actors have alot of experience on the ice. This DVD came with the DVD on the 1972 Summit Series. Which Roy Dupois (plays Richard) is also in as goalie J.P. Parise.

Perhaps it was a re-release in English?

It looks like a great film. I will have to find it.
