Centerville? Maybe upper arlington, bexley or grandview, but centerville?bgsukid wrote:Embellish much? My parents are well off, they never said hey Globetrotter (thats what I make them call me so I can always stay in character) here is $3,000 in cash what we want you to do with it is put it under your bed. Not a bank or use it, just put it right there under your bed. I know that you are in your apartment 11 minutes from your hometown where your likely bank is, but what we need you to do is put that $3,000 under your bed.
My question is this, for those of you out there who have lived longer then me. Outside of working retail and counting money, have you ever even seen $3,000 CASH?. I have once when I was closing an account and putting it into another bank. I have been around the world twice and had to get a bunch of cash before hand every time. For trips that would last me over100 days and where I was never really sure where I would get to an ATM or could use my visa I still didnt have $3,000 including cash for each country I was going to.

How do you know how much money GT had under his bed? Only one way I can think of....bgsukid wrote:Embellish much? Who's GT? You want to know how I know this? It's called reading the paper, pretty hardcore research I know.h2oville rocket wrote:How do you know how much money GT had under his bed? I've seen it reported that his parents are well off and live in a pretty nice area of Centerville, which is a nice area with a lot money, obviously not very familiar with the Dayton area I see. Not everybody does the same things you do and not everybody's parents are like yours so it's pretty unfair to judge on an assumption. If you can prove something then feel free to ridicule. Personally, I prefer to treat others like I'd want to be treated which means I wouldn't want anybody that doesn't know me or my family judging me or what I do. I find it unbelievable that you're still bringing this up three years later when nothing ever came of the situation just because the kid went to Ohio State. Makes our fanbase look very amatuer.Globetrotter wrote:Centerville? Maybe upper arlington, bexley or grandview, but centerville?bgsukid wrote:Embellish much? BTW I was thinking you were saying he was from Clintonville.
3 Grand in cash seems odd to have for anyone.

HOLY CRAP! Is Ryan Artullo trying to ruin BG? Please take my suggestion and don't make contact with Stevens again until he is at campus at BG!!!
Try again.
Keep trying...it was 3,000 and it was given to him by his parents.
you look foolish. You pull outrageous fictional statements out of your ass and try to mingle them in with some half truths and it fails for you.
Keep reaching for something.
$3,000 is a lot of money and the NCAA never even had to investigate. You got nothing, once again.
For anyone? I know a lot of people who keep all of their cash instead of putting it in the bank. Especially a lot of older folk.Globetrotter wrote:I get the feeling you are not a part of our fan base.bgsukid wrote:I've seen it reported that his parents are well off and live in a pretty nice area of Centerville, which is a nice area with a lot money, obviously not very familiar with the Dayton area I see. You're a moron.
Do you really think that if the money was illegal, they would have reported it to the police?? You don't think that if the money was illegal, they would have just gotten more from the place it came from and kept it hush hush? Especially since Mo Clarrett's career ended because he was an idiot and took items (from someone not even associated with the school I remind you).
Use your brain.
The NCAA didn't see anything wrong so why are you so hard up about non sense?
You buy in to this sterotype that all of these colleges pay their players but then you have no facts or proof that it has been done. If the steroetype was true, it wouldn't be hard for the NCAA to find and every shool would be on suspension.
Learn to think for yourself. You're gullable (sp?).
