Absolutely. I'm into wins at this point no matter how they come or how they look.

BTW, Cincinnati beat Miami (Ohio) last night. That destroys at least two lines of conventional wisdom frequently peddled around here :)

Low score wins in underwater door slamming? Note that I'm not surprised BG has a team...

Dude I think we just created a new sport. You know in the Olympics when they ki and then randomly pull out guns and shoot at things. Comibing Frolf and Cross Country just seems too obvious.

Its called biathalon. Very demanding sport- all about heart rate control. Don't ever tick off a biathalete and then attend one of their events. They might "miss" their target.

Yep...can't imagine too many things more difficult than trying to target shoot after cross country skiing.

People make fun of it, but that's a very difficult athletic challenge. It is also a sport that emerged from the lifestyle of the people in that region.

I saw that too. While I was hoping Miami would win this game for the MAC, it made me happy to know we beat UC on its home floor and Miami lost to the Bearcats on a "neutral" floor, albeit in Cincinnati. Miami is going to be a contender in the MAC no doubt, but man had that team had some tough, close losses this year.

There are a lot of things that that are a difficult challange, athletically or otherwise. I could go out in my backyard, set a timer, dig a hole, and then fill it back up. Then, I could try the following week-end to beat my time. This activity would be an incredible test of strength and endurance.

Or, I could eat hotdogs as fast as I can for 10 minutes. Or, I could throw a shotput. Or, I could run cross country. Life is short. If someone finds this kind of stuff a rewarding use of their time, then more power to'm.

:)

Definitely among the worst games I've ever seen. We played terrible. EIU is atrocious. Can anyone else ever remember a team scoring only 13 points in a half.

We were favored by 12 1/2 and won by 4. Kentucky, on the other hand was favored by 13 and lost by 11 to San Diego University. I'll bet the Wildcats wish they had our win instead of "crushing" and "atrocious" team like San Diego.[/img]

Well the BG women did hold Tenn-Martin in the 3rd game of the ISU Shootout to only 14 pts in the 1st half but the difference here was that the women have some offense to go with the D as they had 40pts in that 1st half.
