Broadcast Note...
BGSU's hockey game vs. Miami this Saturday, Nov. 27, will not be broadcasted so that WBGU radio can bring you Falcon Women's Basketball from Duquesne.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

No offense to the girls b-ball team, but I think I'd rather here the hockey game. I think I would actually hear a hockey game over anything but football.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

There is now a Miami Sports Network Internet Channel. www.muredhawks.com. just found it this afternoon and I am trying to get it up and running on my laptop. Seems to be a link problem or a user problem :D

But hey - when it comes to listen to BG hockey, I have to defer to WBGU's stream. But Steve Baker at MSN is a great broadcaster. Go Falcons.
