CBS Sportsline preview...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

First off, I didn't know we played Tulsa in the 1989 Independence Bowl....in fact, I do remember Moe Ankney being a bad coach and dragging us thru 5 losing seasons in a row...including a 45-10 spanking at Tulsa in '89.

Second, when did we become the Eagles?

"The Eagles are one of three Mid-American Conference teams to earn a bowl berth."

Nice to know CBS sportsline verified their facts. Freak, you are right, Moe never came close to sniffing a bowl game as head coach.

Nice fact checking CBS! I didn't know the sports department was employing Dan Rather.

I wouldn't put a whole lot into their predictions. Anybody notice that all of them picked Oklahoma to beat WVU, and all but one of them picked VT over KU.

I wasn't concerned about their predictions...this year, predict the unpredictable. It's the bad info they have listed. Do your homework, CBS!

Eagles, Falcons...Come on, cut them some slack! They are both birds...Have you checked out their page for the National Championship game? Everyone has selected the Pumas to beat the Chestnuts, except for one guy...
