FOX is just continuing its tradition of horrible big-time broadcasts. Not just the announcers, but the whole production is annoying. The repetitive plugs for their sponsors gets old (to the point where the game last night included a 10 second tight shot on a Bud Light billboard in the stadium).

They're also doing a great job of f'ing up the postgame interviews at the Fiesta Bowl. Last year it was blowing the marriage proposal surprise by Ian Johnson. This year, the chick doing the postgame asked the "what does this mean to you?" question to that mohawked WVU FB, and as he fought out an answer through tears, she blurts out "Well, what does this mean to you?"

What do you THINK it means, lady?

Part of the problem is that we have no idea who these Fox people are. They just sort of swoop in on us at the end of the college football season. We've never seen them before, and suddenly they are in our home, uninvited.

Love Brent Musburger or hate him, love Pam Ward or hate her, at least we know them. Who are these Fox people?

Why is it that almost every "announcer" seems to ask a player or coach "What does this mean to you?" or "How does this win make you feel?" right after a game?
They can't ask any good questions....it drives me crazy when I hear them ask the same stupid question.

I wanted Holtz to be there. The Kent State alum I'll be traveling with wanted to meet him. Last time at the parade I got to talk to Jones, Davie and Rowe.
