Ladd Stadium info
Ladd Stadium isn't in the nicest area, but it's ok during the bowl game. If there's one thing I suggest, it's getting to the stadium early. You can park inside the gates (safer than using the yards around the stadium) if you get there early. I would say no later than 5. You can also take a shuttle to the stadium from Hank Aaron Stadium.
Tailgating rules are pretty lax. Drinking is allowed just don't bring bottles. Also, there are places where tents aren't allowed in the parking lot. Make sure you ask the parking attendant where tents are allowed before you park.
If you're planning on buying some liquor/beer for the game, you can only buy alcohol after noon on Sundays.
If you're seats are not where you thought, don't worry. After halftime, you can move any where you want.
If you don't have tickets, you can buy them for $5-$10 outside the stadium. Just make sure you're NOT in the endzone or on the Tulsa side. You have to leave the stadium if you get caught on the wrong side.
I hope this helps!

This was in the BG blog:
“BG again used the USM-Wright practice field today, while Tulsa gets to use "The Ladd" all week in preparation for the big game. We're not sure why that worked out the way it did, but we didn't get the impression that the players felt slighted in any way by it.”
I would have thought they’d have split it up, rotated or even alternated the practice schedule here. Like it says above, the players didn’t see to feel slighted, but I found it a little curious.

What he meant to say is, "I'd keep "IT"MobileBama wrote:I'm not sure. I'd keep it hidden when you walk in just to be safe.
To be even safer, don't use "IT" at all during the game.
"I don't believe I can name a coach, anywhere, anytime, anyhow, who did it better than Doyt Perry."

I seem to recall there being an NCAA rule about artificial noisemakers at conference championship games and bowl games, but my aging memory fails me.TG1996 wrote:What he meant to say is, "I'd keep "IT"MobileBama wrote:I'm not sure. But I think I have an extra "Zoombell" and I was thinking "IT" might make a nice addition to the collection at Pat's.

Did you watch the Liberty Bowl?? Did you hear those Miss State COWBELLS? It sounded like swarms of locusts. So much for not allowing noise makers.
