Mmmmmm....cookies! That sounds good. I was going to agree with you on your assessment of the short field but they just drove 91 yards in 10 plays and it only took 3:21. Tulsa is controlling LOS, me thinks.buffaloefalcon wrote:This is so terrible! National spotlight and we play like...oh, a MAC team! Way to go BG! Although it was great to see OSU fans supporting us out there. Brandon's getting out coached. He's doing nothing. Play like it's the 4th quarter for hamburger sakes! Tulsa is winning on field position ONLY! It's quite easy to score when your average FP is within our 30 yd line! I'm done, I'll just bake cookies, I'm tired of watching turnovers!
Go BG! I'm rooting for you still!

I really think this hurts recruiting. I said it to myself jokingly, but I really think it does. This is a huge, frigging black eye for our program. This really makes me question a lot of things. 43 day lay-off, shlay-off. There is NO excuse for this. fu**ing bullshit!!!!! I am fu**ing pissedffejfalcon wrote:Lets assume that we don't pull a Marshall and come back to win this game..I have two questions then:
1-Does this game get Brandon fired?
2-Does this hurt recruiting?
1. I doubt it.ffejfalcon wrote:Lets assume that we don't pull a Marshall and come back to win this game..I have two questions then:

2. Probably helps. I think most mid major recruits want to play as soon as possible. If a potential recruit is watching this game, what have any of our guys shown to make them think that they can't play right away? Can you hold onto the football? Get out on the field!

Has it really been poor preparation? I know that everyone on here will blame the coaching staff, but the first half falls squarely on the players IMO. Antonio Smith doesn't catch a punt, hits a guy out of bounds, and inexplicably watches a pass goes right over his head for a TD. Nobody held onto the ball and Tyler missed guys running right down the field wide open on several occassions. The D had two opportunities to make interceptions and dropped both. The fourth and 1 run call made me shake my head, but I don't think the coaching has been that awful.h2oville rocket wrote:Obviously didn't prepare for this one but he will NOT be fired.
