UGA v Hawaii

Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

No, you shouldn't and I suspect that there's pretty much concensus on that point around here.
Since when did I care about the consensus?

And I already went through it.

That's why Oregon used it against UM earlier this year. They were so outmatched
They were...my point? look at what they did when they lost their QB. Without Dixon, they were a bad team. very bad. They were out matched and everything with that team depends on the QB play in that high school offense that they run. The QB makes the difference. Without Dixon, (and stupid turnovers on UM's part) then UM steam rolls Oregon.
Teke, usually I lay off your posts posts because I agree with many things you say. This one however, is just too far out there. Oregon destroyed Michigan from the first quarter on. They let up on them too, they could have scored a lot more. Yes Dixon was the big difference but it had nothing to do with trick plays. Had they not ran that play they still would have rolled Michigan. Michigan was awful the first two weeks of the season. Your point about them being a bad team without Dixon is irrelevant because when they played Michigan they had Dixon. Dixon is good, what is your point? So are you saying Dixon is just one big trick play  Oregon had a nice season going on until Dixon went down.

And every high school team, college team, and NFL team runs trick plays. The best ones and the worst ones.

If you don't want the answer don't ask the question.

Maybe I mistated..my point is that IF they didn't have dixon, running all of those gimmicky plays it would have been a different story, from the beginning. All it takes is a smart QB, the rest of the team can suck. I know they had dixon..hell maybe I shouldnt say my point, it is more like my opinion...my opinion is that without Dixon, UM wins.. Oregon without Dixon is a horrible team. You can run a high school gimmicky offense with just one good player (at QB) and beat a lot of good teams but it won't get you anywhere past college.

It will rarely get you national titles...Florida and Texas are the exception.

personal opinion, I'd take the pro style offense over spread option gimick plays any day...line up and play football like men for crying out loud.

Oh so now half of Division 1 football is no longer playing football... because so many teams run the spread.

huh... I guess I was just confused all year long, and that their is only one way to play football.

haha your kidding right? Most of the crap I say, I don't even believe it persoanlly.I just say it because it gets a reaction out of you crazy folk.

Let me be honest for a second....Do you really think I hate BG??? no, I don't...I had good times there...I just didn't go there for football, I went for business school. I grew up in the Columbus area, grew up a Buckeye. I wasnt going to give that up just because I went to BG for business school. I went to BG football games because it was free (well it was pre-paid anyways with tuition), and I am a fan of football.

I understand why you say alma mater first...but to me, it was simply about the school...not the athletics..I want them to win...but never against the Bucks.

That's who I am..dislike me or not..I don't even care.

Still don't know why you guys take me seriously sometimes. It's funny.

Wow, you're an idiot. I said I PREFER the pro style offense over the other goofy BS. I implied that only men line up and play real smash mouth football. I never said their weren't other ways of doing it..Those other ways, however, should be left for the pansies.

Just my opinion.

Do you change people's words much?

Goofy son of a bitch.

Nice comeback, slick.

Ohio State didn't deserve to be in the national title game. They aren't even in the same division as the SEC. They are slow, Tressel sucks and it should have been Georgia vs LSU in the national title game.

In FACT - based on the last two games, this is EXACTLY why Ohio State University should not get title shots. How mortifying for OSU.

I don't understand this view. Georgia didn't win their own division in the SEC. USC lost to a horrid Stanford team, the list goes on and on. It is what it is, OSU made back-2-back National Championship games, that is a great accomplishment. Tressel doesn't suck he has won a National title by beating one of the greatest teams ever by beating Miami (FL) in the 02 Fiesta and has won 4 or 5 Big 10 titles (help me here Tek). I'm by no means a big Ohio St. fan but saying that Ohio St. didn't deserve to be there is like saying if BG goes 12-0 next year they should be in the Motor City Bowl. Put your personal bias aside and recognize what an accomplishment it is to go 11-1 in any league and make 2 straight National Championship appearances.

Sorry I wasn't clear - I was just throwing tekekini's words back at him from the Hawaii debate using Ohio State. I am actually an OSU fan.
