Last post concerning the GMAC Bowl...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

I've said my peace and it's time I moved on. Still stinging from the game but hey, dwelling on it doesn't help. Spring Ball will be here soon! :D

Anyway, Mom and Dad Freak showed up on the official site in the photo gallery! They told me some dude took their pic during the parade and there it is! LOL!

Scroll over to pic # 18 of 22. Might as well end this deal on a positive note!

I really did have a great time in Mobile...and, as always...

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRING THE ATTITUDE IN 2008 AND LAY SOME FREAKIN WOOD.

Amen. Don't dwell on the bowl game. Sure it hurt and was a bad game. But hey, we finished in the MAC better than predicted. A lot of good things to happen in 08.

Where was Freddie?

I saw Freida at the parade and the game, but no Freddie.

Where was Freddie?

k, sorry to thread hijack, especially on someone else's boards. BUT, the mention of hookers and blow brings me to one man...

I do not really know who Jörg Immendorff is (was), and I do not care. The man is now a hero. Some people are impressed if it says "Sir so and so" or has a list of accomplishments upon ones death. But no, this takes the cake.

"Immendorff was discovered naked having his nipples licked by a retinue of seven young filles de joie, while 11 grams of cocaine lay ready for consumption on a Versace ashtray nearby."

If you didn't threadjack, Jesse, you REALLY wouldn't belong here.

As for the photo gallery, Freak... your parents pic is nice, but it doesn't compare to Kory's last blog entry. Good stuff!

He said there was only room for one bird because of travel & funding arrangements. Bummer, huh?

Although...there were also some pretty good games around campus last weekend.

Where was Freddie?

As a Bird Mother of a former Freddie, I can tell you that NCAA regulations only allow one mascot per team. So the Birds take turns and figure out who is going where. All away games only have one bird. At home we get the delight of both.

Didn't I see a couple Tulsa mascots on the TV broadcast? That tornado-looking thing and some kind of dog? Or did they possibly pay their own way and not have field access?

That goofy-looking dog was the GMAC mascot

Ah, it was yellow and cheering with some Tulsa folks when they showed it on TV, I guess I just made an assumption.

Do you feel lucky, punk?

(But yeah, it's a female. Or at least it's supposed to be.)
