Quick scheduling question
Quick scheduling question
I noticed the women don't play any regional teams non-conference. Why not a Wright St., Dayton, UC, Xavier? If they have in the past and this season is an exception to the rule disregard and continue.

There are many schools that are afraid to play us.
Curt tries to set-up a schedule that will challenge the team. He wants to play recognized women's programs that give us an opportunity to win. He was nervous about Belmont and Lipscomb back in November.
I look for us to play in another one of those Caribbean tourneys within the next two or three years. Some top tier competition, but we'll go when he feels we're ready.

Personally, I get my fill of regional opponents in MAC play. I like that we go all over the place OOC. We do play Findlay in exhibitions. We've also played Oakland and Detroit numerous times, as well as numerous PA teams (Duquesne, Bucknell, etc).
A lot of the Ohio schools know exactly how good we are, moreso than faraway schools, so they aren't exactly leaping at the opportunity to schedule us. I love our OOC schedules recently. They're tough, and they get us ready for MAC play. Jodi Kest mentioned in her postgame last night how tough an OOC sked BG played.

Ohio opponents....
I would like to see us take on Dayton as they are pretty good as of late and maybe Cinci and of course I'd love a crack at OSU again.
