Up Next: BG at Kent State

Post by BGSU33 »

Well, to say Kent State has had our number over the past decade would be a huge understatement. Dating back to 1998, BG is only 4-16 over the last 20 meetings vs. KSU and we’ve lost six consecutive home games and haven’t beaten the Golden Flashes in Anderson Arena since 2000 behind an Anthony Stacey-led team. Yes, it’s really been that long. Fortunately, at least against Kent State, we’re not playing at home this weekend, we’re on the road. While that usually spells trouble in the MAC, BG has actually held its own recently in the M.A.C. Center where three of the Falcons’ four wins in the last decade have occurred. BG has won two of its last three games at Kent State and the one loss came last year by one point (62-61). Buffalo nearly beat Kent State at KSU over the weekend, so you never know.
GO BG!!!

GO FALCONS!!!! If we want it more, we'll win.

Ayone going? I'll be there with the Freaklings (more than likely).

I'll be there with my daughters. What the heck, I might even be able to get my wife to go.

33, I think it's safe to say that KSU has had nearly EVERYONE'S number over the past decade... with a TON of 20 win seasons to show for it. You just don't get 20+ wins a year unless you're beating a LOT of people... Actually, I think the Freak will verify that we've at least seen a couple of wins AT KSU in the past few years. I know we left happy after a couple. 8)

Indeed 61! We've seen BG win 3 of the last 5 at the MAC Center. Hope to make it 4 of the last 6 tonight.

I'll stop by after work next week to drop off your bowl shirts. I still plan on wearing mine cuz in a couple weeks, nobody will remember what happened...outside of BG and Tulsa. :-D
