Thanks NY,
Forgot about the little thing called GAMETACKER....found it there after posting.... Interesting that C. Murdaugh was high scorer for the Falcons...another freshman doing a great job...and I assume a "career" high for her.... What a great start to the MAC season for the ladies!

Attendance of 3010. Kind of a quite crowd--the coaches really had to work to get the crowd into it.

Kate Achter picked up 2 fouls in the first half and Tracy Pontius had to play significant minutes in her place. I thought she really stepped up to the challenge.

Next up--at Kent on Wednesday night--if you are in the area, try to make it out to support the Falcons.

Great news from AA!!! BG now 13-3, 2-0 MAC. Mrs. Freak will be out of town early this week but hopefully I can make it over to see the women play Kent.

Its a little sad that it took every Girl Scout troop in Wood County and surrounding to get to 3k but we broke the record FWIW. When the entire Student Section is mostly 6-10 year-old girls with their moms you can understand why it took Coach Miller and others to try and rally the crowd which really shouldn't happen. The lack of major student support is very puzzling to me. Are they all still in bed at 2pm or what? :?

2:00 is nap time on a Saturday! LOL. Seriously, I was there and often was the only one standing in the area around me.

Girl Scouts - good for attendence numbers, but not for loudness :-D

I'll say this, if it takes all the girl scouts in NW Ohio to get us over 3K, I say keep bringing them in. Its good they got to see a winner tonight, and I hope they come back

This is the type of thing all sports should be doing. I'll bet hundreds of those girls will be begging mom and dad to take them out to another game soon. They might not have been loud but they looked spirited from where I was. Life long fans are built on foundations like these.
Yeah right girl!

Agreed. And those little ones always bring the most money for concessions and t-shirts. They pay for those free tickets in so many other ways. Now get the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brownies, 4-H and every youth group known to NW Ohio.

Better a full arena from free tickets than a 1/3 at full price.

On a related note if young girls are not loud among other young girls at a basketball game, NOT TO PICK ON ANYONE, but what are our cheerleaders doing or not doing?

What record?

I've been at AA for a women's sellout before.
