BG area Radio....
Can anyone tell me what is the best radio station to listen to the game is now that 107.7 The Fox has changed over to soft pop music now and no longer carries BG mens hoops. This bad for me as 1230 AM out of Toledo is just crappy.

We're a Division 1 college basketball team and we cannot get the games on the radio in the town where the college is located? Oh, if we're a touch south of town we MIGHT be able to get them...IF they don't conflict with a freaking HS team!?!?
C'mon guys, get the s**t together. It's not like 107.7 woke up one day and said, hey let's change formats and drop BGSU sports. I'm sure the university had to have been given SOME notice here.

FWIW, OG has had some teams that probably could beat some of BG's recent teams.hammb wrote:We're a Division 1 college basketball team and we cannot get the games on the radio in the town where the college is located? Other than that, I agree. We have to find a station that you can ALWAYS pick up in BG.

In all reality, it's not that uncalled for to have a radio station switch formats overnight and the DJs get no advanced notice. If anything, BG didn't have a very iron-clad contract with 107.7 and is now getting screwed because their lawyer didn't draft something very strong.

Well I live about 6 miles south of BG in Portage and I tried 106.3 and all I got was static. This something just perfect for a little Ask the AD me thinks.doughash wrote:106.3 out of Ottawa will carry the BG games when they don't conflict with the Ottawa-Glandorf high school games. Might be a decent signal if you live a little south of BG.
