hammb,

Listening to the game, it sounded like Larson played pretty well. And I noticed from the box score there was a TOTAL of 24 fouls called? 14 on MU, 10 on BG. Heck BG used to get called for 24 themselves.

How was the crowd tonight?

Apathetic at best , that is the BG fans that were there. Sad to say about 1/3 or more of the Student Section seemed to be predomintatly made up of Ottawa-Glandorf fans of the Pollitz twins. It was probably over 1k for sure but again not much excitement cept for those on the sidelines and cheerleeders. It is rather dishearting but can I guess maybe we can't blame anybody ford not really being into these games when we have a aura of sucktitude for the most part. Maybe this win will bring more rowdy students out but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Great to hear, especially after the effort in Akron. 3-2 in the MAC at this point is overachieving IMO, but I'll take it.

I think we probably had over 1500 tonight, but at least 1/3 of them were Ottawa Glandorf people/Miami fans.

Larson played okay. Still very little in the way of rebounding. Did hit a very nice jumper to end the first half, and then got a +1 play on a great feed from Miller. He probably played better than Polk today who couldn't do anything in the post.

Clements, Knight, and Miller really had the big games tonight. The final possession we had looked terrible as though we were going to just try to kill clock. However, it was a great designed play, Miller drives and kicks to a wide open Knight for the baseline jumper to go up 3. That was a HUGE shot and a good one to see CK knock down.

Hammb, I can't believe you didn't mention the highlight of the night: That kid playing the "Letters in the Bag" game was awesome! :D

After being down at one point 2 to 17 or something like that, I thought it was going to be another blow out similar to the Akron game, but that was changed when it was tied at 19 going into halftime. Aside from the first part of the first half, I thought it was a pretty decent game. Although for only 24 fouls in the entire game, I thought it was a rather low number considering both teams were dishing it out as much as taking it. Congrats to the Men's BBall team on a win against Miami and being 3-2 in the MAC.

The refs were definitely letting them play last night.

Oh, and Warthog, your son would've gotten a mention had he WON. He better practice that pulling letters out of a bag skill ;)

It is the exact same game and that is how I explained to him what it was. Of course, I don't think he was getting a car or a falcon if he won. Did get a $10 Bookstore gift card just for playing though. :D

That will buy him a hat off the discount rack! I, personally, love the discount rack!

I was definantly pumped after the game but I am dissapointed with our crowd. I felt we, they, us the crowd was not what up to what fans should be when their team is winning and/or about to win. I mean at the womens game this week where we lost the crowd was up yalling, clapping, trying to get things pumped up. The flailing arms of the students apparently didn't send the message of getting up and getting loud. :? It seemed like everyone was taking after Charlie on the other side, or Bones as I call him.
