Nothing is a "done deal," especially in college hockey... so DON'T JINX US!!! :? I do appreciate your optimism though!

And to reply to the ealier posts...Freddie (the AZZ poster, not the mascot)is at every home game and even a few away games!!

GO FALCONS!!
SWEEEEEEP THE LEPRECHAUNS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Interesting. 3 people vote for the so called "Falconboy Choice" 0 pts but none of them are me as I gave us 1. Seems I'm not as pessimistic as others here. Hmmmm...... :-k This should be a good game. If we are to beat them it will likely be at home. Calling for a BG sweep over ND is rather premature but at the same token I think ND sweeping us is also a lot more unlikely now than earlier in the year. We seem to be playing better and ND supposedly is in a rut. We'll see just how much tonight I guess.

Yeah, don't do as I have done on the women's board as it pertains to Falcon W's BB lately and get ridiculously over confident. Its rather easy to get so confident when your women's bb team has been kicking butt (15-4) cept for 3-4 games all year and when all it takes is a mere 3pt loss to a Mac team we've beaten time and again for 3 straight years to bring us down to reality a bit. The hockey team have dominated the real week teams of the CCHA and the likes of Wayne St. but they're still a work in progress. Calling for sweeps over a ranked opponent the quality of ND when we have yet to show the ability to do so is again just a little premature......just a little.

Just noticed that myself. STO's web site says OSU vs. ND, however. Will it be BG-ND or OSU-LSSU?

Dish Network says Bowling Green at Notre Dame. And seeing how the game will be broadcast on Comcast Local, I have to believe it will be our game.

My cable guide says BG-ND. The PD said OSU-ND, but then I started thinking about it, figured they were wrong, and I was! This is awesome. 8)

Guess what? You just participated.
Freddie, what you need to do is instead of complaining, come out to the game Saturday night and watch Bowling Green kick Notre Dame's azz. Then we won't have to worry about whether we're truly in the rankings or not.
Freddie is just about as faithful as they get and rarely misses a home game. Tongue, cheek, if you know what I mean.

Well, I'm glad, I guess, I was able to see the game. ND is a very disciplined team.

Who would imagine McIlrath would be the player who punches an on-ice official? :o

The TV guys were half dopes. Through the entire game they said the referee was Hill when those of us watching the game could clearly see that it was Lisko.

wow we are good! Man that was embarrassing Jeff Jackson just showed us why he was coach of the year last year.
Dave Ellett is a hero. A Bowling Green Falcon and a Former Jet and Maple Leaf. What more can a Winnipegger ask for.

6-1?

Can someone give me a real synopsis and not the polished up pile of crap (no offense to the SIDs, I know it's your job) that BGSUFalcons.com puts out?

Yuck. Care to expand on that? I heard something about double minors and/or a fight...

McIlrath was trying to hit the guy who was hitting on him, but the linesman who came in to break it up, got part of the swing instead!
