My process of elimination has shown me that 4 bowls - Las Vega, Boise, Independence & Silicon Valley each need one team to invite.
My list of availables are:
Uconn
BG
NIU
Marshall
Akron
Tulane
All others have been accounted for. Even Troy(Houston Bowl) and Hawaii in Hawaii.
Therefore, 4 out of the top 6 teams will be taken.
Here are my bowl predictions!

I think the Silicon folks would hav already invited us if we were going there. I think we'll see NIU in the GMAC, MU at the MCB and UT at the Silicon Valley.
I think we'll end up in either Hawaii or Houston or maybe at the Vegas bowl. Or we could end up sitting at home like a bunch of misfit toys...
On an unrelated topic, I'm thinking of developing a system of random punctuation. It, would look: something like. this. Impressive, eh?

How do you get Troy in the Houston Bowl??? UTEP is already there and the other slot will be a Big 12 team, they've already stated that. The big 12 has enough teams to fulfill this slot. I don't see where Troy would fit there, but yes, as of now, everyone gets a spot that's eligible, with Hawaii waiting to be eligible.Falcon52 wrote:My process of elimination has shown me that 4 bowls - Las Vega, Boise, Independence & Silicon Valley each need one team to invite.
