If the men win and the ladies lose again, I'm going to start wondering if there is some weird planetary alignment going on.

Falcons win again!!! Brian Moten leads the way with 19 as BG wins their 3rd straight and 4 of the last 5, 63-53. Clements had 13 and Miller added 12. OUTSTANDING D effort again! BG shot 56% from the field, 54% from 3 and 57% from the line. :?

BG now 10-9, 5-2 MAC, and will head to WMU to play in a very difficult place Saturday.

The ride is just beginning!!!

GO FALCONS!!

Tied for second place in the East nearly half way through the MAC schedule. Fantastic job by Coach Orr and his staff and great effort from the players.

5-2 sounds really good.

I can definitely get used to this winning thing. I usually hate moral victories, but the team's two losses on the road against the league's obvious two best teams....are forgiveable. I'm giddy.

With as tightly bunched as the MAC is, if you continue to win your home games, and find a way to steal a couple on the road...suddenly you're having a very solid season. And that is what BG is doing, they are simply taking care of business and winning the games they can win.

At the half-way pole, Louis Orr is coach of the year in this league. Kent and Akron are very good teams, but we knew they would be with respect to Christian and Dambrodt who have done a great job building their programs. Hopefully Coach Orr is laying the foundation for the same type of success at BG.

Can't wait to watch the Toledo game on ESPNU a week from Sunday.

Ball State's record aside, they were favored over our Falcons by 4 tonight...very good win for us on the road and underdogs to boot!!

No matter what happens the rest of the way out something special is developing in BG. Coach Orr is building it and sometimes the work site is a mess (i.e. Akron) but if you have vision you'll see it. Regardless of what happens the next time out or the rest of the season I think it's a great year to watch. Yes I said GREAT YEAR regardless of record or rank.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

I concur. We are building something for the future here. We may surprise this season, but the future is bright.

Well, these are the types of games that you have to win to be a successful team in this conference. Every win is nice, but honestly, I'm not that impressed. Look at the team we beat, they were 3-15 coming in, now 3-16. Pardon me if I don't exactly feel thrilled about beating a team as pathetic as Ball State.

Now if we roll into Kalamazoo and take down WMU this weekend, THAT would be extremely impressive. I might have to consider us a contender for the conference title if we pull that off.

24, you really need to get over this expectation of perfection that you seem to have for every team that you root for. With all due respect, shut up, understand where this team has come from, where everyone expected it to be, and where it is currently at. Enjoy the ride. This type of season is what makes being a sports fan so fulfilling.

as Herm Edwards said, YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME, I don't care if we win by 1 or 50, its still a win, so enjoy it for once 24

A win on the road in the MAC is big no matter what the opponents record. Ball State has two of their three wins in the MAC.

Hammb, I agree with something you posted recently. I was looking forward to going to the game last night. I was excited all day at work. The past few years, I would have went, but not have anticipated going to the game.

This team plays hard and plays together. They have definitely bought in to Coach Orr.

I never felt last nights game was in doubt, although it did get a little dicey near the end with some missed free throws.

TG it was nice to meet you last night.

Go Falcons!

This is the MAC. Every road win is a good win in this conference.
