BGSU vs TSUN....
Will be televised by FSN Ohio Saturday at 2:30. This presents a bit of a problem for the Freak. The Freaklings and I are heading down to Columbus for the BG/OSU hockey game but I don't want to miss this game! I will probably watch the first half and then tape the rest of the game to watch after we get back.
GO BG!~
GO BG!~

Breske's strong early start was important. She is such a superior athlete. It's critical that she stays out of foul trouble against the better teams. Some of her fouls today were just a result of the officials misjuding her physical strength. Achter had one of her best games. When she is able to penetrate, the BG offense runs on all cylinders. 13 assists with no turnovers, who does that Steve Nash? Prochaska's transformation to a legitamate 3pt shooter is significant. She attempted only a handful of 3's her first three years of high school, taking the ball to the basket or using a mid-range jumper. It wasn't until her senior season when she faced alot of box-and one defenses, that she took several behind the arc each game. But she became the 6th all-time leading scorer in Ohio high school by taking what the defense gave her. With the better athletes in college being more difficult to drive past, she adjusted her game. One more thought: if Achter plays like this, BG will win the MAC tourney,

Great, great win! It is rare to get a win by that margin in any rivalry game- especially on the road.
cat, I am right there with you on T Breske and fouls. Yes, she does need to take less out of position fouls, but there is no player I have seen in the MAC this year who gets called for more "stuff" than Breske. You are right: she is far, far stronger than most players. If they ever just let her play, she will be extra tough. If she is called for a foul when she is checking out etc, it is often because she simply puts a body there and down they go.
As she regains game speed and jumping ability coming off some injury seasons, she will really be a load.
Go Falcons!

Yeah, I guess nothing beats blowing your biggest rival out of their own building.BGFalconfromCincy wrote:Nothing can be better then beating the hated rivals by 30 on their home court, it was such a fun game to be at, GREAT JOB LADIES!!!!!!!!
This was a great win to be sure. Kate's tailbone must be feeling better, either that or she just hates Toledo so much that she fought through it and had her best game of the season.

That was GREAT!!! As disappointed as I was seeing BG lose to OSU in hockey last night, I knew once I got home I could pop in the tape and watch that thrashing. Falcon Fanatic got me a score update in the 2nd half and said BG was up 50-30...I was jacked.
Watched the game after I got home and wow...what a performance.
And Cueball Ehlen could only apologize to the UT fans. TEN STRAIGHT WINS OVER THE HATED SCUDS!!!
Breske is quite a player...and what else can ya say about Kate? A true warrior.
Up next is a home game with NIU Saturday. BG now 16-6, 5-3 MAC.
TOGETHER WE ATTACK AND CONQUER!

Speaking of Ehlen and the UT fans, after the game a couple of those fans asked me and my friend I was with if we could beat UT for an 11th time in a row, so they could get rid of EhlenFalconfreak90 wrote:And Cueball Ehlen could only apologize to the UT fans. I think Tara is working her way towards "warrior status" as she only played the end of the 1st half and the entire 2nd half after having her bottom teeth go through her lip (according to Coach and Kate during the post-game comments)Falconfreak90 wrote:Breske is quite a player...and what else can ya say about Kate?
