Not....gonna.....happen. If we wanna get more than 1 Mac team in we gotta go do what the MVC has done for years now.

The last I checked, Kent and Ohio had RPI rankings of 48 and 50 respectively. Those are definitely bubble calibre RPIs. What's key is that neither fall off a cliff in February. (Kent's RPI fell from 35 to 48 after the loss at Toledo.)

Akron is in high 70's, I believe, so they won't be a bubble candidate unless they start destroying everybody. Thing is, they might just be the most talented team in the MAC. I have no problems seeing them win the MAC tourney.

Here's a fun thought: Kent and Ohio keep their RPIs in the 40's and Akron wins the MAC tourney -> 3 teams from the MAC?!?!?!? That's certainly fun to think about. However, if Kent and Ohio maintain their RPIs, two MACs at the dance seems realistic. (Akron with the autobid and Ohio or Kent with the at large).

Ohio is also receiving a couple votes in this week's AP poll:

ie: we better not beat any of these 3 teams down the stretch or we'll screw them and the conference over.
