Off subject, but does anybody know is Jonathon Winters is still alive?
So, is it spelling, grammar, or old age!?

I intend on it one day...I saw some really gorgeous houses on HGTV House Hunters in Alaska the other day.

Wasn't there a bad movie back in the 90s that had Alaska playing the Rangers?

For what it's worth, I think I'm going to make my first game of the season tonight. If you see a strange guy in a fedora and a plaid jacket that will probably be me.

BAD!!? Mystery Alaska is the greatest sports movie of all time. Stevie Weeks skating the river. Man wake up and smell the roses.
Dave Ellett is a hero. A Bowling Green Falcon and a Former Jet and Maple Leaf. What more can a Winnipegger ask for.

I would not call it the greatest sports movie of all time.. not even the best hockey movie. But it makes the list of good hockey movies...young Blood, slap shot, miracle, the sweater, net worth, the rocket and others all have their place on the list as well.

At the risk of being tagged as the 'spelling police'...I'm sure you mean Mindy is a VILE temptress. Unless you're saying she came from some sort of test tube. SHASBUT!

Yes he is alive and well, at age 82, and still spends some of the year Dayton.

You can't be serious...greatest sports movie of all time? It's not even close to the best hockey movie of all time.

Youngblood...I remember people calling Nelson Emerson that during games.

Slapshot is a classic.

useless Falcon hockey trivia...

2 former Falcons are in the movie Youngblood. Brian Meharry is on the "good guys" team, while Andy Gribble is on the "bad guys" team!

If you know who you're looking for, they are easy to spot. Meharry is especially easy to spot in the scene that Derek eats the rose given to him by a fan. Meharry is directly on his right (the left if you're looking at the picture). Oh and Meharry has a pretty cool last name in the movie! HAHA!

Why I still know this? Who knows...

Great crowd...not outstanding but great..Id venture if we did not have the end seats that the sides would have been filled with lots of folks standing...good game. good pace

No radio? That sucks. I was at the game and listened to the live feed (as I usually do) on my little pocket radio.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
