Stovall is a great candidate for that award. He's been through every type of adversity many of today's college prima donnas would run away and cry about. Three coaching changes, a season-ending knee injury and now two years of bad basketball and he still seems to have a smile on his face, and loves his university.

(Check Jan. 30: http://www.wthr.com/Global/story.asp?S= ... =menu188_4)

I rarely find myself pulling for conference rivals, but he's one I can get behind.

You are right about Stovall. I had never checked out THR'S blog before. Was Rich Nye at the game on the 30th? I didn't notice any TV crews there.

Yeah, Rich was there, though I don't know where. I looked for cameras, too, but didn't see any. They had game hilites that night and a story the next day or so about BSU hoops... Rich's got some pretty good things in his blog, from time to time, but the blogging platform needs to be updated to be more functional. I promise that's in the works.

Anyway, what I actually meant to link to in relation to Stovall was the story he (Rich) did after the BG game...

I think I've linked it here before, but the blog Stovall kept over the summer is what got me hooked on him. Seems like a damn good kid.
