I'm 53 years old, most of the organs are pretty well shot anyway :(

I sincerely hope nobody actually thinks I was seriously suggesting that anybody ought to actually drink this! The only people dumb enough to drink an elixer like this would be Brittney Spears and Bigdog.
Hah! Bigdog!

For those playing along at home, Nebraska won the first game, 5-3. Let's hope the Falcons can turn the current tide and win the second game!

I sure hope so. If they do, it will be the first time all season BG will get a victory on Day 2 after dropping Day 1.

Re: the "Rivalry," I found the event listing for Saturday's game on Facebook, and included in the description was this:
"Plus we all hate Bowling Green, friggin perverts, and we all love Jimmy Spratt. Some come taunt them a lot."

Where'd that come from? Punks. Seriously. Rivals? No, not quite. Simply another CCHA team.

A reference to a hazing incident from 200-uuhhhhhh-3? Perhaps 2004. There was a picture of a passed out individual with writing all over his naked body. It wasn't a HUGE deal, but it was blown out of proportion.

Players were quickly and correctly suspended for violating team rules. The picture was never released to my knowledge, but the Mav fans know exactly what was on it (or so they think.)

They are a rather odd lot, these yearling fans. A great many of them are classy and very good fans. Like most other fan bases (including BG), there are a few which spoil the lot. What makes them odd is that the few claim to represent the whole.

1st victory this season by BG after losing the 1st night. The win helps BG keep pace with both Nebraska-Omaha and Ferris State (who beat Miami AGAIN tonight) for 5th place in the CCHA.

AWESOME WIN! Much needed to stay within 2 points of the Mavs.

Congrats, gents!

This is true, all of the fans were very nice to us, except for two students who after our first goal tonight threw their beads at us and told us to sit down, when we were sitting the entire time :x

While it was a shame, it was also quite funny, anyone else been told to sit down when you were already sitting down :?

The obvious question is: WTF were you doing sitting down after we scored?

+1
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
