Ohio did us a favor by losing today. If we can win in Athens, we'll pretty much lock in the #1 seed for the tourney. Even if we lose, I think we're in really good shape for a bye.
What is our RPI right now? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Before today's game, it was 78, and Miami was at 66. Winning on the road there might get us all the way up to around 70, and a win at Ohio would likely jump us another few slots. The last two games won't move the needle much unless we lose.

Man 78, that's really low for a 21-6 team. Geez, I guess you're right, we need to win the MAC tourney to get to NC's. What I don't get is why Miami's RPI is better than ours with them having lost 3 more games than us. Their SOS couldn't have been that much better than ours.

According to collegerpi.com Miami's SOS is much better than BGs.
Miami SOS: 75, RPI: 68
BG SOS 174, RPI: 69

Though that was a great quote, I like this one just a little better

"Though they were on the road, the fans helped the atmosphere of the game to feel more like Anderson Arena silencing the MU stands especially after Goldserry hit a three to give BGSU a 10-point lead, 70-60"

It was an amazing second half, and probably the most fun I have ever had at a road game. After the game the team turned to us and appuladed us for ever efforts

That was a great & historic game :!: To be part of the group of fans who witnessed it was amazing. One red hawk fan told me it was just a game & that I should shut up once in a while. He also said he was glad that I did't follow miami & root 4 them. I told him I was really HAPPY to root 4 BG. Then I asked him why he was even talking to me. :? The team REALLY APPRECIATES the fans home or away. Some may have thought when the seniors left the fans left. the whole young team realizes that the fans are here to stay BE @ 2A 4pm :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
tip off the middle game of a triple.

I remember you telling us that yesterday after the game, and I still laugh at it. This Miami fan wouldn't want a fan that's all about their team, and that yells, cheers, and supports them no matter what. I guess some Miami fans rather sit on their hands and keep their mouths shut rather then actually cheer for there team. Makes me wonder what the Miami players were thinking during that second half

Simply Awesome!!! WAY TO GO BG! Nice to payback MU for that 63-60 loss in our house.

The Freaklings and I will be in town to see Kate and Whitney's last home game at AA. :(

Congrats Coach Miller and staff on win #145. What a ride this is!

factman thanks for the Miami post :D it was interesting
I know this is the WBB post but there's a hockey post about the BG- Miami game where one fan tells me I'm welcome @ Goggin but don't sit in his section. Does he really think he won't hear me yelling 4 BG? :? I'm beginning 2 wonder about my Nephew's degree from MU-- :( -hopefully he left before they went down hill.

Good to know Miami fans consider yelling and cheering to be "obnoxious"

They must also think Curt and Kate lobbyed the MAC office for Kate to be POTW

I'll take "obnoxious" over "library land" any day Please no soft surfaces in the new convo!!!
Kate has enough bruises, bumps & scrapes to earn POTW the rest of the season. She's totally amazing-- actually the whole Women's Basketball family is astounding. :star:
