BG FANS: Top-25 Kent State is coming to BG this Saturday!!!!
Kent State is ranked #23 in the AP Poll and #24 in the ESPN/USA Today Poll this week. Kent State has beaten BG six.....count 'em, SIX....consecutive times at Anderson Arena. That is six times way too many! We could make a huge statement at ending that streak this weekend and what a great opportunity at a big-time victory for this team. Let's get a great turnout and pack Anderson Arena in the season finale and knock off a ranked team! Please come out and support this team people! Is our last win over a ranked team when we beat Top-25 EMU on Antonio Daniels' last-second layup back in the late 1990's (with the assist by Chris Daniels on tripping the EMU defender covering AD)?

Or, perhaps, we can just kick their ass, make them cry like girls, and leave them wondering "what if?"Globetrotter wrote:Maybe Kent State can win out and go to the mac championship and lose and get in as an at large?

We don't air Jeopardy until 7:30 here... I may have to use you guys to win some wagers some day around the office.

One thing that is unfortunate about the timing of this game is, most of the students will have already left or will be leaving campus for Spring Break. Not that we’ve been getting much student support this year anyway (but thanks to those of you that have been showing up), but it will likely impact the number that is there.

I don't think so 33. The diehard student fans are the ones showing up right now. They'll be there no matter what. The others, f**k em! They haven't shown any support to the team all year, and if they're gonna leave, then let them leave early and not care.BGSU33 wrote:One thing that is unfortunate about the timing of this game is, most of the students will have already left or will be leaving campus for Spring Break.
